It finally feels like fall here in Kansas City! The weather just turned from warm to cool, the trees are yellowing, and I'm 100% finished with my seasonal closet change-out. At last; fall is here!
Sorting through my sweaters and wool skirts I realized (yet, again) just how neutral most of my wardrobe really is. Every autumn for as many years as I care to think back on, I reach for a super slim pencil skirt, a striped turtleneck, and my favorite denim jacket. How classic are these pieces? How classic is this look?! You probably have similar (if not exact) pieces your own wardrobe. I'm updating these standbys with my latest and greatest accessories dujour: my J. Crew leather calf hair saddle bag in aubergine and a pair of super-cheap and super-chic black round sunglasses from Forever 21. These two statement makers are right on trend for Fall '15 and add just the right amount of interest to my otherwise basic outfit.
