Jeans and a Tee
I love how a classic pair of jeans looks with a simple white tee shirt. Is there anything more American than this simple combo?! Finding a pair of jeans to make your butt look good and your legs look long can be a tall order, but I've finally got my hands on a pair of Frame Denim 'Le High Flare' and they've been a crucial addition to my wardrobe. They hold everything in without being restrictive, they're super long (even for a tall girl like me), and the cut is on point.
My favorite thing about wearing simple staples is their ability to be a blank canvas for interesting accessories like this pearl adorned leather choker from Wendy Mignot. While it's a subtle statement, it's different from the barrage of chokers gaining popularity this season. The femininity of a classic pearl feels very unexpected placed on a rustic leather cord. Belissima! And a great way to subtly give a basic tee a little personality.
