It's been a very busy few weeks for me! I found a pretty cool job working for Hallmark as a Production Artist in their Creative Resources department. Being on a schedule (ie. someone's else's schedule) has been an interesting change for me, but I love being around other creatives and having a 'work desk' outside my house. Dressing for the office has been a good test of my fashion sense (early mornings + dress code = CHALLENGE) but I find myself most comfortable in tailored pieces that have a whisper of a twist.

I LOVE these grey wide legs I scored from J Crew last winter (Last seen HERE and back in stock because they're AMAZING!) paired with a long sleeved off the shoulder sweater. I wasn't sure if I could do an off the shoulder top for the office, but the collar is so generous I can arrange it so it has more of a boat neck style. Talk about desk to dinner! At noon I'm only hinting at my decolletage, by five, I'm pulling the collar down for ultra an ultra feminine look atop my ultra masculine trousers. Classic loafers and my leather laptop pouch have been in heavy rotation as well, as you might imagine.

I'm tired and happy, exhilarated and exhausted, but mostly, just soooo happy it's finally FRIDAY!
