J Crew Quilted Boyfriend Fatigue Jacket

I consider an army fatigue jacket to be a wardrobe staple, and yet, I've never had an incarnation that I really loved. I have a real-deal camouflage army jacket, but the fit isn't totally flattering. I decided to jump on the Quilted Boyfriend Fatigue Jacket from J Crew because I've always been really happy with their outerwear. Truth? The day I shot these pictures was the first day I wore it and I realized within five minutes of shooting that it was too small. So later that day I exchanged it for the larger size and now I couldn't be happier!

Although I plan to wear the jacket with just about everything (jeans, leggings, dresses) for just about any reason (errand running, gym-ing, brunching), I absolutely love it over this slinky, sparkly, shift dress. It's the perfect counterpart to all that glitter.
