I know. I preach and preach about buying neutral basics that have multi-season wear-ability and then I turn up in a pair of super loud novelty pants that can't possibly function after summer's expiration. But something inside me said, 'Yes, you need that pair of high-waisted bright blue gingham trousers', and dammit, they feel good! Paired with my signature white shirt (backwards), neutral sandals, and my favorite new pair of cheap sunglasses (sometimes Forever 21 nails trendy eyewear!), my happy pants feel modern and elegant despite their inherent loudness.
