Fourth of July Outfit Ideas
You know summer's in full swing when you're making plans for the 4th!
Wow! As I make my plans for the weekend I'm forced to reminisce about some of my favorite memories of the holiday. It's like yesterday I was sittin' on the back of my dad's pick-up taking in the city fireworks from atop a high hill near my childhood home. Or strolling through Boulder with hoards of friends and family to partake in the singalongs and fireworks at Folsom Field. Partying with friends in a Denver penthouse with a city view that rivaled the fireworks. Hiking to Conundrum Hot Springs outside of Aspen for a weekend of roughin' it the Rockies. There are too many to count. I've had so many beautiful experiences on this hallowed land. God, I love this country and my fellow Americans!!! HAPPY FOURTH, FRIENDS!
And if you're wondering what to wear to it all... I've rounded up a few of my favorite looks. Read on!
Go All-American Bo-Ho in cutoff Levi's and a tie-dye kimono.
Accessorize your favorite white (shirt) dress with a bandana in red, white, or blue.
Ditch the heels for metallic sandals, then pair bold stripes with a crisp white skirt and denim jacket.
Pay homage to your favorite American brands in Levi 501 cutoffs and Ray-Ban Aviators.
Keep it sporty in distressed white denim and a cute pair of kicks.
Beat the heat in a floaty sundress, wide brimmed hat, and retro-chic cat-eyes.
Pair a striped off-the-shoulder dress with red espadrilles and your favorite denim jacket.
Wear something irreverently striped with your favorite mini and an on-the-go crossbody.
Do white on white with one patriotic flair.
