Florida Floral
My trips to Florida usually consist of lazy days walking the beach, looking for sharks teeth, swimming in the gulf, and enjoying the night life one can only find at their local Eagle's Club. (If you've been to one you know what a blast it is - if you haven't been, you should go immediately.) Because these trips aren't 'fancy', I tend to pack lightly and only bring my 'tried-and-trues'. When you're a stone's throw from the beach, it's a waste to spend your time dressing.
Here the 'tried-and-trues' are my vintage Levi's 501s, Rayban Wayfarers, calf-hair leopard print belt, and gauzy striped scarf that doubles as a beach sarong and shawl. On their own they're unexciting, but the addition of this floral silk blouse found earlier that day in a local thrift store adds a bit of humor and fun to my otherwise boring basics.
