Caped Crusader

What is a cape if not a snugly blanket that's acceptable for wear outside the house? It almost makes me wish for cold weather everyday. Almost.

I love capes because they help basic clothing look instantly stylish. Today I wore dark skinny jeans, a western denim shirt, and a pair of distressed ankles boots (aka, 'the modern woman's casual uniform'). Adding a cape to my casual canvas instantly makes me feel more pulled together and special. A vintage bag, some gold accessories, and I'm out the door.
