Eyelet Dress Outfit Inspiration Spring 2015

Well, it's already kind of hot. And humid. And my hair won't do anything. And I'm a little worried about how I'll make it through another humid-ass summer. Oh wait, eyelet shift dresses and sneakers! The white cottony perforations have been synonymous with Spring and Summer dressing for decades, but this year eyelet seems to have been reinvented as fashion's pattern du jour. There are tons of options right now at every price point, hem length, and shape. My dress is a classic shift from Gap (I could have featured it in my Fifty Under $50 post) that I plan to use for casual Saturday lunches, BBQs, and other unfussy events. Perhaps I'll splurge a little later this season and bring home one of the more intricate pieces I've been eyeing at places like Zara and ASOS.
