Color Blocking With Subtlty
Although this outfit uses adjacent colors (blue and green) to achieve color blocking, the colors are so far from 'pure' they feel like neutrals. One dark, one light, and we've got a decent contrast going. If you want to try color blocking, but feel bashful about wearing LOTS OF LOUD COLORS, this look might be right for you.
Skirt: Thrifted (Similar HERE) // Top: Zara // Shoes: Zara // Satchel: J Crew 'Kirby Satchel' (Similar HERE) // Sunglasses: Spitfire 'Coco' // Scarf: Thrifted // Knuckle Ring: Capwell and Co. 'Gold Caged Triangle Knuckle Ring' // Other Rings: Asos (Similar HERE)
I punctuate my muted clothing with crisply blocked B&W shoes and bag. A gold scarf with a B&W blocked pattern coordinates and gives a nice 'pop' to these understated pieces.
