Dressed Up

I never miss an opportunity to dress up, but I get really tired of seeing and wearing head-to-toe glitz. To me it's fresher and more modern to mix something elegant and dressy with a basic standby - like this satin midi skirt with a pedestrian white cotton tank. I say 'pedestrian' because most of America has probably walked by this $12 tank top while shopping at their local Target. Yup, Target. 

So what do you think? Am I wedding appropriate? Cocktail-party appropriate? Does this tank stand-up as a functional piece for dress-up?
