Being that it's well below freezing in Denver this week, I'm obsessed with finding layers that keep me warm but don't add a ton of bulk. SILK happens to be a wonderful fabric for just such a request. I've always thought of silk as warm weather fabric, but several layered pieces (J Crew Blythe Blouse, Banana Republic T-Shirt, & J Crew Silk Scarf) under a slim-cut wool jacket is doing the trick - warmth without bulk!

I layered my necklaces too although they don't do much to keep me warm. I've got J Crew's Fanned Leaf Necklace and a gold-spike-cheapie from Forever 21.
