It's true I'm obsessed with white shirts. When I splurge on something fabulous it's usually a white shirt. When experimenting with trends I tend to interpret them through, you guessed it, a white shirt. Fast fashion? White shirt. Daily driver? White shirt. Special Occasion? White shirt. Why? It probably has something to do with a fabulous quote that rattles around in my head constantly: Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. A white shirt's simplistic elegance is always sophisticated!

The latest addition to my collection is this off the shoulder cotton number from Zara. This shape is EVERYWHERE this season and for good reason: it's a bust increasing, waist minimizing, hourglass maker of a fashion statement. Here I'm wearing it with my favorite cropped flares and a nude sandal, but (per my rule of finding three ways to wear a new piece of clothing) it also looks great worn with white wide legged trousers or a swishy black mini skirt.
