Snowy Sunday

The best (and maybe only) thing I enjoy about snow is getting to wear my boots. Today I took my Frye Jenna Disc Shorties out for a spin.

I agonized over buying these Frye boots for a full year - and no, they never went on sale. Although it hurt to part with the money, I'm glad I did. I tend to be a lazy dresser when there's snow on the ground and these boots elevate even the most boring of functional cold weather clothing.

Although they aren't technically storm boots, they did ok in the elements. I'd recommend no slip pads on the soles and a light coat of waterproofing spray before venturing out in a storm - but my feet stayed warm and dry and I felt cute on this snowy sloppy day.
