Sheerly Unique

This, folks, is the very first item I've thrifted since arriving in my new home. What kind of dress is this? I don't know. I can only guess it used to be one half of a suit - the sheer tank top a lightweight cami to go under a matching jacket. I couldn't find the jacket - but the dress on its own struck me as such an interesting piece I knew I had to have it - and rock it.
