Today this lucky girl is wearing a brand new pair of handmade MAMAHUHU shoes. Knowing these babies came together under the warm flesh of an artist's hand makes them feel quite special and a little more interesting than my other 'mass-produced' shoes. Like they've been somewhere and have a story. Like they're wise.
In getting to heart of why I love this shoe I have to share a pearl of wisdom I came across while tootin' around the internet the other day. This pearl reminded me that 80% of my closet needs to be WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON appropriate. For me this means most of me clothing should be casual daytime, office friendly, walking friendly staples that won't slow me down as I jump from commitment to commitment. That's why I love this shoe; they're the perfect 'Wednesday Afternoon' shoe.
