Whelp. We got our first snow. And right on the heels of New Year's Eve! Thankfully, I'm prepared to (fashionably) handle piles of slush and snow because I'm been stockpiling the most fabulous outerwear pieces and accessories since late September. Yeah. Mama likes her boots and coats (and hats and scarves and gloves). Cold feet and legs? Never... I've got my very favorite Aldo over-the-knee boots! Cold hands? Nope... These studded leather glove keep my fingers toasty and add a little shine to my basic blacks. Chilly neck? Um, no... Did you see the size of this snood?!

And the dress... Banana Republic has my favorite stuff lately. I found it on sale (still happening!!! and less than $50!!!) and it's a great addition to my wardrobe. It's a super flattering, slightly sculptural mini shift with a flash of leather at the hem for a little extra edge and interest.

I have to say, this may be one of my favorite NYE outfits of all time. STAY WARM, BE SAFE, AND I'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
