Fall transitioning is kind of fun. Instead of thinking 'How will this look when I'm dripping sweat?', I get to think 'How will this look with my end-of-summer tan and new boots?' - the later being a much better question to ask oneself, amiright? Paired with said tan and new boots, this bell sleeved shift dress from Forever 21 Contemporary feels just right for straddling those moments between summer and fall. Bare legs and a floaty bo-ho dress say summer, while chunky boots in rust leather say fall.

I picked up these Sam Edelman boots during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and the bag is vintage Coach I thrifted years ago. Because I like to invest in pieces that get the most wear (shoes, bags, outerwear), I often have little (or no) money left over for extravagant clothing. Forever 21 Contemporary is amazing for finding inexpensive pieces to pair with quality accessories. And even though I bought the dress as a late summer transition piece, I know it'll get me to winter by pairing it with over the knee boots or tights and block heeled pumps.
