Despite the simplicity of this outfit, getting to said simplicity was anything but.

It seems the seasons are transitioning again and I find myself a little confused about how to get dressed! The light layers I wore all spring are starting to get a little heavy, but I feel 'naked' in only a few articles of clothing. As I scoured my closet for something fresh to wear, I kept coming back to two items I feel really excited about wearing right now: off the shoulder tops and flatform sandals. They're fabulous because they're exciting enough to stand alone and don't need a lot of styling to look interesting and cool. I'm still finding my summer style groove, but I'm incredibly drawn to the summery ease of both pieces and anticipate buying a few more options of both. They easily add some oomph to basics and they're perfect for staying cool and comfy in rising temps.
