A Floral Dress for Fall?
And here's yet another spring purchase that didn't see the light of day until after the autumnal equinox. I love a mini-shift dress, but depending on how many hours I've logged at the gym, I don't always like to show off my bare legs. When I bought the dress I thought I'd probably wear it with black tights and pumps as homage to all the colors of fall - and I was right!
And speaking of black tights: If you haven't tried FAUX THIGH-HIGHS yet, do yourself a sexy little favor and get them on your legs now! I won't wear thigh-highs socks anymore (mostly because I wore them the last time they were in style in the 90s) but I LOVE the way I look and feel in these tights. The thigh-high sock is attached to a waist high tight which creates a super smooth and comfortable fit. No rolls, no sagging, no creeping - just the sexy little hint of a thigh high with all the comfort of a tight. Talk about putting a little strut in your step!

Not sure how to pull off FLORALS FOR FALL?
- Avoid cotton, linen, and chiffon fabrics - instead choose silk, satin, or velvet.
- Avoid floral prints on white backgrounds - instead choose those on dark backgrounds.
- Layering does the most to transition summery pieces into colder months. Start with black tights and pumps, then add a sweater or jacket, and top with a scarf.
Happy fall, ya'll! Thanks for stopping by!
