Making it out of the house in a cropped top is no small feat for a gal my age. I have no business baring my entire midsection, not limited to, but definitely including my belly button! And yet, here I am in a cropped tank. What's with this paradox? Wearing a cropped top (well) past 22 relies on two things: never showing your belly button and choosing a bottom that's modest and demure. This outfit was another crowd pleaser when I hit the streets. Both men and women liked the classy-sexy combo of a bare midriff with a full feminine skirt. Red stripes with preppy basics like aviators, a leather tote, and a block heel make this look totally fresh and approachable. And the best part? The tank came from Forever 21 and set me back less than $10!
